Your deepest identity is not your job, failure, success, reputation, past, or pain. For the believer, life is re-centered in Jesus Christ.
Performance-based identity is exhausting because every good day must prove you again and every bad day threatens to erase you. Scripture gives a stronger foundation: created by God, known by God, redeemed through Christ, made new, called to walk in what He prepared, and formed by grace. Use these resources when shame, comparison, success, failure, or other people’s opinions are naming you too loudly.
