“For we are God’s handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works.”
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
Paul declares that a man’s identity and purpose originate from God. Scripture reveals that every believer is crafted with intention. Handiwork means workmanship, a creation shaped by the hands of God.
Purpose accompanies identity. Created in Christ Jesus to do good works means God prepared meaningful assignments for every man. A man becomes confident when he realizes he was made by God and made for God.
Paul teaches that purpose is discovered through Christ and lived out in obedience. A man learns that his life carries significance because God designed it with purpose woven into every detail.
Father, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me walk in the works You prepared for me. Strengthen my obedience to fulfill Your design.
