“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.”
Jeremiah 1:5 NIV
God speaks identity to Jeremiah before calling him to ministry. Scripture reveals that God’s knowledge of a man precedes his birth, his decisions, and his failures. A man becomes grounded when he realizes his identity is rooted not in performance but in divine intentionality.
Jeremiah felt inadequate, yet God declared purpose written into his existence. Before I formed you speaks design. I knew you speaks relationship.
God shapes men with intention long before they understand their assignments. Jeremiah teaches that calling begins with identity, and identity begins with God’s knowledge of a man.
Father, remind me that You formed me with purpose. Anchor my identity in Your intention. Strengthen me to walk in what You created me to be.
