“So then it was not you who sent me here but God.”
Joseph’s revelation reflects profound maturity. Scripture reveals a man who interpreted his suffering through the lens of God’s sovereignty. Betrayal did not define him.
Purpose did. Joseph recognized that God had used pain, injustice, and separation to position him for saving lives. A man becomes wise when he sees God’s hand where others see only harm.
Joseph refused to blame his brothers because he believed God had sent him ahead. Suffering became assignment. A man’s transformation deepens when he stops asking Why did this happen to me and begins asking How is God shaping me through this.
Joseph teaches that divine purpose often travels through unexpected pathways.
Father, help me see Your hand in every season of my life. Remove bitterness from my heart and give me clarity of purpose. Teach me to trust Your sovereign plan.
