“When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look God called to him from within the bush.”
Moses encountered God in an unexpected place. Scripture reveals that God spoke when Moses turned aside. Attention preceded revelation.
A man becomes transformed when he turns aside from routine and pays attention to the movement of God. Moses was not seeking a calling—he was tending sheep. Yet God interrupted his ordinary with holy purpose.
God still calls men through moments they almost miss. The burning bush was not the miracle; the voice behind it was. A man must learn to pause, turn aside, and listen.
Moses’ willingness to approach the flame opened the door to deliverance. God speaks to men who are attentive enough to respond.
Father, help me turn aside when You are drawing me. Open my ears to Your voice. Lead me into the purpose You reveal.
