“Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.”
The man freed from legion wanted to follow Jesus immediately, but Jesus sent him home. Scripture reveals a truth many men overlook. Transformation begins where brokenness once lived.
Going home meant facing people who remembered the chains, the outbursts, the darkness. Yet Jesus entrusted him with testimony, not theory. His scars were his sermon.
God often sends a man back into familiar places so redemption can be witnessed firsthand. The man once feared became the man whose story shook a region. God does not hide the past.
He redeems it. And when redemption becomes visible, others begin to hope. A man who has been set free becomes a mirror for what God can do in any life.
Father, give me courage to walk back into rooms that remember my past. Let my life reveal Your power. Use my story to awaken hope in those still bound.
