“For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
Jesus teaches a kingdom principle that cuts against the grain of human instinct. Men often chase recognition, but Scripture reveals that God lifts those who lower themselves. Humility is not self reduction—it is God elevation.
It is choosing to serve rather than demand, choose truth rather than image, choose character rather than applause. Jesus exposes the weakness in self exaltation. A man becomes steady when he refuses to build himself on pride, because pride always collapses.
God raises the humble because humility creates a foundation capable of carrying honor. Jesus teaches that the pathway upward always begins downward.
Father, cultivate humility in me. Remove the pride that weakens my character. Lift me in Your timing as I submit myself to Your way.
