“Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Mark 9:23 NIV
Jesus spoke these words to a father whose faith trembled under the weight of disappointment. Scripture shows belief and doubt wrestling within the same heart. Jesus did not require perfect faith—just honest faith.
A man becomes transformed when he brings his fragile belief to Christ rather than hiding it. Possibility opens when belief is connected to God’s power, not human optimism. Jesus teaches that faith is not certainty.
It is trust. A man does not need flawless confidence to see God move. He needs willingness to believe despite the evidence around him.
Jesus strengthens the man who admits his need.
Father, strengthen my belief where it feels weak. Help me trust Your power more than my limitations. Increase my faith as I place it in You.
