DAY 4 OF 365

Day 4

Verse
“So Jacob was left alone and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.”
Genesis 32:24 NIV
Story

Jacob’s story brings us to a night where God confronted him with truth. Alone in the dark, stripped of distraction, Jacob wrestled with a presence that challenged every identity he had created. Scripture records the struggle without explanation because transformation often unfolds in silence.

Jacob fought until dawn, refusing to let go until he received something real, something lasting. God touched his hip and changed his walk forever. That limp became a reminder that true identity is given, not taken.

Jacob entered the night with deception in his history. He left the morning with a name rooted in covenant. A man becomes transformed when he stops running from God and allows God to reshape him.

The wrestling was not about winning. It was about surrender. Jacob lost his strength but found his purpose.

Prayer

Father, meet me in the places where I wrestle. Break what needs to be broken and strengthen what must remain. Give me the courage to surrender to Your transformation.
