DAY 28 OF 365

Day 28

Verse
“The Lord said to me Go show your love to your wife again.”
Hosea 3:1 NIV
Story

Hosea’s obedience reveals the cost of reflecting God’s heart. Scripture shows a man commanded to love someone who had broken covenant. This was not weakness.

It was divine assignment. God used Hosea’s life to reveal His relentless love toward His people. Loving again requires courage deeper than emotion.

Hosea displayed a strength rooted in obedience rather than pain. A man becomes Christlike when he chooses love that costs him something. Forgiveness, pursuit, restoration — these are not soft attributes.

They require spiritual maturity. God teaches men that covenant love is not based on convenience but on calling. Hosea obeyed not because it was easy but because God asked him to reflect mercy that is stronger than betrayal.

Prayer

Father, give me the strength to love with Your heart. Heal the places in me that resist forgiveness. Teach me to reflect Your mercy through obedience.
