“He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.”
Scripture describes God as a refiner who sits attentively over the fire. Silver is purified through heat, but the refiner never leaves the process. God does not walk away from the flames He allows.
A man becomes purified through seasons that burn away what cannot remain. Pain becomes the instrument. Pressure becomes the tool.
But God remains close, guiding the process with intention. Refining is not punishment. It is preparation.
God removes impurities not to diminish a man but to reveal the strength beneath the surface. A refiner knows the silver is ready when he can see his reflection in it. God refines men until His image emerges.
Father, refine me carefully and completely. Remove what dulls my character and reveal what strengthens my spirit. Shape me until Your image is reflected in me.
