“Then He said to me Prophesy to these bones and say to them Dry bones hear the word of the Lord.”
Ezekiel stood in a valley full of bones, a picture of complete lifelessness. God asked him to speak into what looked beyond repair. Scripture shows that God’s power often begins where human possibility ends.
Ezekiel did not bring life. He brought obedience. God brought breath.
The valley teaches that a man’s role is not to manufacture miracles but to speak truth with faith. God resurrects what He chooses, but He invites men to participate through obedience. Ezekiel learned that faith is not denying reality.
It is believing God can transform it. Every man faces valleys where hope feels buried. God calls men to speak His word even when evidence contradicts promise.
Breath follows obedience.
Father, teach me to speak Your truth into hopeless places. Strengthen my faith to trust Your power over what I see. Bring life where only You can restore.
