“The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.”
Genesis 3:21 NIV
After the fall, shame entered the human story. Scripture reveals that God responded not with rejection but with covering. God Himself made garments for Adam and Eve, demonstrating mercy in the midst of judgment.
A man becomes amazed when he sees God’s compassion even after failure. Genesis teaches that God provides covering for shame. This foreshadows the ultimate covering Christ provides.
A man learns that God does not abandon the fallen. He covers them, restores them, and leads them forward. God’s mercy clothes a man where guilt once overwhelmed him.
Father, thank You for covering my shame with Your mercy. Help me walk in the freedom of Your grace. Restore my heart through Your compassion.
