God warns Cain with clarity and compassion. Scripture reveals that sin is active, waiting, and dangerous. It desires to control, but God calls a man to rule over it through obedience and dependence.
A man becomes vigilant when he recognizes the conflict within. Genesis teaches that temptation demands awareness and discipline. God gave Cain a choice, and God gives every man the same responsibility.
Rule over it means fight, resist, and submit to God. A man learns that victory over sin is possible through God’s strength. Sin crouches, but God empowers.
Father, help me rule over sin with Your strength. Give me discernment and discipline. Protect my heart from the desires that oppose Your will.
