DAY 2 OF 365

Day 2

Verse
“One day after Moses had grown up he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor.”
Exodus 2:11 NIV
Story

Moses walked out of privilege and into a moment that awakened him. Scripture shows him standing between two identities, watching the suffering of a people whose blood ran through his veins. Something shifted inside him that day.

The world he lived in could no longer cover the truth he saw with his eyes. God often awakens a man not with a voice from heaven but with a burden that interrupts comfort. Moses was not yet the leader who would confront Pharaoh.

He was simply a man who could no longer ignore injustice. His calling began not with miracles but with compassion. Before God uses a man publicly, He stirs him privately.

Moses’ awareness was the first step toward the man he would become. Purpose begins when a man starts seeing life honestly. Moses did not understand the full weight of what he witnessed, but he understood this much.

He belonged to God’s story, not Pharaoh’s palace. That realization changed everything.

Prayer

Father, open my eyes to what You want me to see. Stir my heart toward the burdens You have assigned to me. Lead me into the purpose You are awakening within me.
