DAY 116 OF 365

Day 116

Verse
“My sacrifice O God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart You God will not despise.”
Psalm 51:17 NIV
Story

David understood that God desires sincerity more than ceremony. Scripture reveals that brokenness—when offered to God—is not weakness but worship. A contrite heart is a heart ready for healing.

David did not hide his failure. He brought it to God. A man becomes strong when he stops protecting his pride and allows God to rebuild him.

Brokenness is not the end. It is the beginning of transformation. God does not reject a repentant heart.

He restores it. David teaches that the deepest worship a man can offer is honest surrender. God honors truth in the inward parts more than performance in the outward ones.

Prayer

Father, receive my brokenness. Heal what has been fractured. Restore my heart through Your mercy and strengthen me by Your grace.
