DAY 115 OF 365

Day 115

Verse
“I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry.”
Psalm 40:1 NIV
Story

David’s waiting was not passive—it was trust. Scripture shows a man choosing patience when he could not control timing. Waiting tests a man’s endurance, humility, and hope.

Yet David found that God turned toward him. God hears. God responds.

A man becomes steady when he learns that waiting on God is not wasted time. God uses waiting to refine character and deepen dependence. David teaches that patience is not weakness—it is spiritual strength.

Waiting positions a man to receive what rushing would ruin. God turns toward the patient heart with compassion and timing that is perfect.

Prayer

Father, teach me to wait with patience and trust. Hear my cry and turn toward me with Your mercy. Strengthen my heart as I wait for Your timing.
