“For we are God’s handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works.”
Paul reveals identity before action. Scripture teaches that a man is crafted by God with intention long before he performs anything meaningful. Handiwork means design, craftsmanship, and purpose.
God does not create men randomly. He shapes them with mission embedded into their existence. A man becomes confident when he understands he is not an accident but a creation.
Good works are the result, not the root. Purpose flows from identity, not effort. Many men search for meaning outside themselves, but Paul teaches that meaning begins with who created them.
God forms a man through calling, gifting, and divine shaping. A man who knows he is God’s handiwork walks with purpose even in ordinary days.
Father, remind me of my identity as Your creation. Reveal the good works You designed for me. Empower me to walk in the purpose You established.
