“For we live by faith not by sight.”
Paul speaks a truth that challenges the instincts of every man. Scripture teaches that sight is not the foundation of life—faith is. Sight demands evidence.
Faith demands trust. Men often want clarity before commitment, but God calls them to step before they see. Living by sight keeps a man anchored to what is predictable.
Living by faith leads him into what is possible. Paul learned that faith carries a man through seasons where sight offers nothing but confusion. God forms men who walk according to His voice, not their circumstances.
Faith becomes the compass when vision is limited. A man grows when he chooses trust over fear, obedience over certainty, movement over stagnation. Living by faith is not blindness.
It is confidence in the One who sees perfectly.
Father, teach me to walk by faith when sight fails me. Strengthen my trust in Your guidance. Lead me with conviction even when the path is unclear.
