“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation.”
Job 38:4 NIV
God confronts Job with divine perspective. After chapters of confusion, God answers, not with explanations, but with revelation. Scripture shows that understanding God’s greatness restores humility.
A man becomes grounded when he remembers that God is Creator and he is creation. Job teaches that God’s wisdom extends far beyond human insight. A man learns that surrender begins when he relinquishes the need to understand everything.
God’s questions lift the gaze from pain to majesty. Perspective shifts when a man recognizes God’s infinite authority.
Father, humble my heart before Your greatness. Remind me that Your wisdom exceeds my understanding. Help me trust Your sovereignty with peace.
