Elijah’s challenge confronts divided loyalty. Scripture reveals that wavering weakens a man’s faith and direction. Israel fluctuated between worshiping God and following idols.
Elijah called them to choose. A man becomes decisive when he commits fully to the Lord. 1 Kings teaches that spiritual strength requires clarity of allegiance. A man learns that indecision is itself a decision.
God calls men to wholehearted devotion. When a man stops wavering, his strength returns. Loyalty to God stabilizes the heart.
Father, remove divided loyalties from my heart. Help me choose You fully. Strengthen my devotion and resolve.
