God reduced Gideon’s army from thousands to three hundred. Scripture reveals that God often decreases resources so He can increase glory. A man becomes dependent when God removes what he thought he needed.
Judges teaches that victory comes from God, not numbers. God dismantled Gideon’s confidence in human strength so faith could stand alone. A man learns that God sometimes subtracts before He multiplies.
Strength is revealed when a man trusts God with less. God fights with a few to show His power.
Father, teach me to trust You when resources are reduced. Strengthen my faith in Your power. Help me rely on You rather than strength of my own.
