After the Red Sea deliverance, Moses and the Israelites worshiped with this declaration. Scripture reveals that salvation is both rescue and relationship. God becomes strength when a man has none.
God becomes defense when enemies rise. A man becomes secure when he recognizes God as his source of power. Exodus teaches that worship flows from remembering what God has done.
A man learns that God does not simply give strength. He becomes strength. God does not simply provide defense.
He becomes defense. Salvation becomes personal.
Father, be my strength and defense. Fill my heart with gratitude for Your salvation. Keep me anchored in Your power.
