“The Lord will fight for you you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:14 NIV
Israel stood trapped between the Red Sea and the Egyptian army. Scripture reveals that stillness is sometimes God’s strategy. Fear demanded action, but God required trust.
A man becomes steady when he learns that God fights battles he cannot win alone. Exodus teaches that God defends His people with power and purpose. Stillness is not passivity but trust.
A man learns that divine intervention often comes when he stops striving and starts believing. God moves when faith rests.
Father, fight the battles I cannot fight. Teach me to be still in trust. Strengthen my faith in Your deliverance.
