God spoke these words to Jacob as he fled from conflict and fear. Scripture reveals that God’s presence is not confined to peaceful seasons. He watches over His people even in uncertainty.
A man becomes encouraged when he realizes God goes with him into unfamiliar places. Jacob had nothing but a stone for a pillow, yet God promised companionship, protection, and purpose. Genesis teaches that God’s presence is a man’s greatest security.
A man learns that wherever he goes, God goes. Divine presence transforms lonely places into holy places. God watches, guides, and keeps His own.
Father, thank You for being with me wherever I go. Watch over my steps. Remind me daily that Your presence surrounds me.
