“When you pass through the waters I will be with you.”
God speaks assurance to Israel and to every man who feels overwhelmed. Scripture reveals that God does not promise avoidance of trouble, but His presence within it. Waters symbolize trials that rise higher than a man can stand.
Yet God says, I will be with you. Presence becomes protection. A man becomes resilient when he understands that difficulty does not mean abandonment.
God walks with him through deep waters, not around them. Isaiah teaches that God’s companionship is stronger than any threat. When waters rise, God remains.
When fires burn, God shields. A man learns that survival does not depend on his strength but on God’s presence.
Father, be with me through every deep water I face. Strengthen my heart with Your presence. Carry me through what I cannot endure alone.
