  3. Good works follow salvation as God's purpose for His people, not as the mechanism by which they rescue themselves.

What this teaching must not distort.

Avoid language that removes the call to repent and believe. Grace is God's rescue, and the gospel summons a real response of faith.

Christianity is not a second chance to save yourself. It is the announcement that God saves sinners through Christ.
