“The Lord is with you mighty warrior.”
The angel spoke identity over Gideon long before Gideon felt strong. Scripture reveals a man hiding from the enemy, yet heaven addressed him as a warrior. God speaks to men according to their destiny, not their fear.
Gideon believed he was insignificant, but God saw potential. A man becomes transformed when he listens to what God calls him instead of what insecurity whispers. God assigns identity before assignment.
Gideon’s courage did not create his calling—God’s presence did. The Lord is with you is the foundation of every warrior. Strength begins with His companionship.
Gideon teaches that God sees a man’s future even when the man sees only failure.
Father, help me hear what You call me. Silence the voices of fear and insecurity. Teach me to walk in the identity You have spoken over my life.
