“Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
Joshua prepared Israel for a miracle by calling them to consecration. Scripture teaches that God works powerfully through hearts set apart for Him. Consecration is separation from what distracts and devotion to what God desires.
A man becomes ready for God’s movement when he cleanses his heart and refocuses his life. Joshua understood that God’s wonders flow through obedience. Israel was on the edge of promise, but preparation came before possession.
Consecration positions a man for what God is about to do. Transformation requires participation. Joshua teaches that tomorrow’s miracles often depend on today’s obedience.
Father, consecrate my heart. Remove what distracts me and prepare me for what You desire to do. Make me ready for Your amazing work.
