“My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest.”
Exodus 33:14 NIV
Moses valued God’s presence more than the Promised Land itself. Scripture shows him refusing to move without assurance of God’s companionship. Presence became the priority, not destination.
A man becomes anchored when he seeks God’s presence above God’s blessings. Moses understood that rest flows from nearness to God, not achievement. The journey ahead was heavy, but God promised rest through companionship.
A man grows when he stops relying on his own strength and begins relying on God’s presence. Where God goes, rest follows. Moses teaches that the presence of God is the greatest provision a man can carry.
Father, let Your presence go with me in every step. Give me rest through Your nearness. Lead my life with Your peace.
