“**You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God you will receive what He has promised.”
The writer of Hebrews reminds believers that perseverance is the bridge between obedience and promise. Scripture teaches that promise requires endurance. A man becomes mature when he learns to keep going when progress slows, when emotions fade, when challenges rise.
Perseverance is not stubbornness. It is faith with endurance. God shapes men who persist until the promise unfolds.
Many abandon the journey too soon, never realizing how close they were. The writer urges believers to endure so that obedience produces its reward. A man who perseveres becomes a man who receives.
God fulfills His promises in those who refuse to quit.
Father, give me perseverance to continue Your will. Strengthen me when I grow weary. Help me stand firm until Your promise is fulfilled.
