DAY 40 OF 365

Day 40

Verse
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
Romans 8:18 NIV
Story

Paul understood suffering through a lens shaped by eternity. Scripture reveals a man who endured beatings, shipwrecks, imprisonment, and betrayal — yet he called it incomparable. Paul measured pain against purpose, not comfort.

A man becomes resilient when he stops viewing hardship as punishment and begins seeing it as preparation. Glory outweighs struggle when Christ becomes the anchor. Paul teaches that suffering does not diminish a man.

It deepens him. God uses difficulty to build endurance, shape character, and reveal glory hidden beneath the surface of adversity. Pain becomes temporary when purpose becomes eternal.

Prayer

Father, help me see my suffering through Your eyes. Strengthen me with eternal hope. Use every trial to shape me into the man You are forming me to be.
