“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 NIV
Solomon calls a man to trust beyond analysis. Scripture reveals the tension between human logic and divine wisdom. Trust requires surrender of the instinct to rely on personal insight.
A man becomes grounded when he learns to let go of explanations and hold onto God. Proverbs teaches that human understanding is limited, fragile, and easily misled. God invites a man to trust with his whole heart, not half of it.
Leaning on God stabilizes what leaning on self weakens. A man learns that trust is not blind. It is belief in a God who sees further, knows deeper, and guides better than he ever could.
Father, teach me to trust You fully. Help me release my need to understand everything. Steady my heart as I lean on Your wisdom.
