“Your word is a lamp for my feet a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 NIV
This verse reveals Scripture as guidance. A lamp for the feet gives clarity for the present step. A light on the path offers direction for the future.
Scripture shapes both immediate decisions and long term direction. A man becomes discerning when he follows the guidance of God’s word. Psalms teaches that Scripture protects from missteps and reveals the next move.
A man learns that walking by the word gives stability and clarity. God’s word lights the way one step at a time.
Father, guide my steps with Your word. Illuminate my path with truth. Help me walk with clarity and obedience.
