Psalm 23:1 NIV
David begins his most intimate psalm with a declaration of trust. Scripture reveals God as a shepherd who guides, protects, and provides. A man becomes secure when he rests under divine care.
Shepherd imagery speaks of a God who knows the path, the dangers, and the needs of His sheep. Psalms teaches that lack disappears when God leads. A man learns that provision is not found in abundance but in relationship.
When the Lord is shepherd, contentment grows. The heart feels full even when life feels uncertain.
Father, shepherd my life with Your love. Teach me to trust Your provision. Help me rest in the truth that I lack nothing in You.
