“He who rules over people must be just ruling in the fear of God.”
2 Samuel 23:3 NIV
David speaks as a king reflecting on leadership. Scripture reveals that true leadership requires justice and reverence. A man becomes a worthy leader when he governs with fairness and walks in the fear of God.
Leadership is not control but stewardship. 2 Samuel teaches that justice flows from integrity and fear of God. A man learns that leadership without reverence collapses, but leadership rooted in God’s fear brings stability and blessing. Justice reflects God’s heart.
Reverence directs a leader’s steps.
Father, make me a just leader. Teach me to lead with reverence for You. Shape my decisions with integrity and wisdom.
