David stood in his darkest hour, abandoned and distressed. Scripture reveals that strength is found not in circumstances but in God. David strengthened himself in the Lord when no one else stood with him.
A man becomes resilient when he learns to draw strength from God instead of external support. 1 Samuel teaches that divine strength fills the heart that seeks God. A man learns that in the deepest moments of despair, God becomes the well of renewed courage. Strength rises where faith rests.
Father, strengthen me in moments of despair. Help me find courage in You alone. Lift my heart with Your presence.
