God spoke these words when choosing David as king. Scripture reveals that God’s evaluation differs from man’s. While others saw an overlooked shepherd boy, God saw a warrior king.
A man becomes free when he understands that God examines the heart rather than external qualifications. 1 Samuel teaches that character outweighs appearance, skill, and status. A man learns that God values purity, humility, courage, and sincerity. God sees what people miss.
God chooses who He knows, not who others expect.
Father, shape my heart to reflect Your character. Help me value what You value. Transform me from the inside out.
