“Abram believed the Lord and He credited it to him as righteousness.”
Genesis 15:6 NIV
Abram’s righteousness was not earned but credited. Scripture reveals that faith is the foundation of a man’s relationship with God. Abram believed God’s promise despite his barren circumstances.
A man becomes righteous when he trusts God’s word above his own understanding. Genesis teaches that God honors faith even before fulfillment. Abram believed before he received.
A man learns that faith is counted as righteousness because it recognizes God’s nature. Belief becomes an act of worship. Trust becomes the posture that pleases God.
Righteousness begins with faith.
Father, strengthen my faith to believe Your promises. Help me trust Your word above my circumstances. Count my belief as righteousness in Your sight.
