“Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds.”
James 1:2 NIV
James speaks a truth that challenges natural instincts. Scripture reveals that trials produce growth, perseverance, and maturity. Pure joy does not mean delight in pain but appreciation for what trials develop.
A man becomes wise when he sees hardship through the lens of divine purpose. James teaches that trials test faith and strengthen character. A man learns that endurance is born in adversity, not ease.
Joy rises when he recognizes God is shaping him through difficulty. Trials become tools in the hands of a faithful God. Maturity grows as a man responds with trust rather than despair.
Father, give me the wisdom to see purpose in trials. Strengthen my faith when tested. Help me grow through every challenge.
