“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid but gives power love and self discipline.”
Second Timothy 1:7 NIV
Paul reminds Timothy that fear does not come from God. Scripture reveals that the Spirit fosters courage, strength, and clarity. A man becomes bold when he walks in the power the Spirit provides.
Power strengthens him. Love guides him. Self discipline steadies him.
Paul teaches that fear often rises from uncertainty, but the Spirit equips a man with everything needed for faithful living. A man learns that courage is spiritual, not emotional. God provides a Spirit that transforms timidity into confidence.
The Spirit enables a man to lead, serve, and endure with strength.
Father, fill me with Your Spirit. Replace fear with power, love, and self discipline. Make me bold and steady in every situation.
