Paul instructs believers to find their strength in God rather than in self. Scripture teaches that a man’s true strength is borrowed strength. Be strong in the Lord means to draw power from His presence and His word.
A man becomes courageous when he stops trying to stand alone. Paul teaches that every spiritual battle requires God’s strength. Human effort collapses under pressure, but God’s power endures.
A man learns that strength is not toughness but dependence. God gives power to those who seek Him.
Father, fill me with Your strength. Teach me to depend on Your power. Make me strong in the Lord each day.
