“Go said Jesus your faith has healed you.”
Bartimaeus cried out when others tried to silence him. Scripture shows a man who refused to let the crowd dictate his desperation. Faith made him louder than discouragement.
When Jesus called him forward, Bartimaeus threw aside his cloak, symbolizing everything that once defined him. His healing began not at the moment of touch but at the moment of belief. A man becomes whole when he stops allowing silence to protect his pain.
Faith moves him toward Christ even when he cannot yet see the outcome. Jesus honored Bartimaeus not because he was strong but because he believed. A man’s healing begins when he believes Jesus can bring him into a future he has never seen.
Father, increase my faith beyond my limitations. Draw me toward You with boldness. Open my eyes to the healing and purpose You have prepared for me.
