“Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst.”
Paul reveals a truth many overlook. The Spirit of God does not visit. He dwells.
Scripture teaches that a man’s life becomes sacred space when the Spirit resides within him. The temple once stood as the center of worship, but now God chooses the heart of a believer as His dwelling. A man becomes responsible for the atmosphere of his life when he grasps this reality.
Purity matters because presence matters. Obedience matters because holiness lives within. Paul teaches that God has elevated a man’s identity by placing His own Spirit inside him.
This presence gives strength, guidance, conviction, and comfort. A man learns that he carries the presence of God wherever he goes.
Father, help me honor Your Spirit within me. Make my life a place where Your presence is welcome. Strengthen me through the truth that You dwell in me.
