“The Holy Spirit said Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul.”
The church in Antioch worshiped, fasted, and prayed. In that atmosphere the Holy Spirit spoke. Scripture reveals that calling is born in surrendered environments.
Set apart means chosen for God’s purpose. A man becomes effective when he allows God to separate him from distractions that compete with divine calling. Barnabas and Saul were already serving, yet God called them into deeper work.
Calling often deepens as a man grows in devotion. The Spirit directs men who listen. Antioch teaches that God speaks clearly to surrendered hearts.
Set apart is not isolation. It is intention. God shapes men for assignments that bring Him glory.
Father, set me apart for Your purpose. Remove anything that distracts me from Your calling. Direct my life by the voice of Your Spirit.
