DAY 150 OF 365

Day 150

Verse
“Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.”
Luke 9:23 NIV
Story

Jesus defines discipleship with clarity. Scripture reveals that following Christ requires self denial, endurance, and daily surrender. A man becomes strong when he learns to say no to impulses that oppose God’s will.

Taking up the cross is not suffering for suffering’s sake—it is choosing obedience over comfort. Jesus teaches that discipleship is not occasional commitment but daily decision. Following Him shapes character, challenges pride, and realigns priorities.

A man grows spiritually when he takes up the cross willingly because he trusts the One he follows. Christ does not call men to a path He did not walk. The cross leads to resurrection life.

Prayer

Father, teach me to deny myself and follow Christ daily. Strengthen my will to embrace obedience. Shape my heart through surrender.
