DAY 13 OF 365

Day 13

Verse
“But I have prayed for you Simon that your faith may not fail.”
Luke 22:32 NIV
Story

Jesus spoke these words before Peter stumbled, revealing a Savior who intercedes before the fall. Scripture gives us a glimpse into divine foresight. Jesus knew Peter’s strength and his weakness.

He knew the denial and the return. Jesus did not pray that Peter would avoid failure. He prayed that his faith would survive it.

This is how God forms men. Through moments that expose insufficiency but deepen dependence. Peter collapsed in fear, yet Christ’s intercession held him in the unseen places.

A man becomes stronger when he realizes that his survival is rooted not in his own discipline but in the prayers of the One who never stops interceding. Jesus did not abandon Peter to shame. He prepared him for restoration.

Faith does not fail when Christ holds it.

Prayer

Father, thank You for praying for me even when I am unaware of the battles ahead. Strengthen my faith through every trial. Guide me back quickly when I fall.
