“The God we serve is able to deliver us.”
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood before a king with fire blazing at their feet. Scripture reveals a bold declaration of trust: God is able. Their confidence was not in escape but in God’s ability.
A man becomes courageous when he trusts God regardless of outcome. They believed God could deliver, yet they followed with even if He does not. This kind of faith is rare—faith rooted in loyalty, not results.
These men teach that true courage emerges when a man trusts God’s power and God’s wisdom. Deliverance is His ability. Obedience is man’s responsibility.
The fire tested their faith, but their devotion remained unshaken. God met them in the furnace because they honored Him before the fire.
Father, give me faith that stands firm even in the fire. Strengthen my trust in Your ability and Your wisdom. Let my obedience reflect unwavering devotion.
