“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With Him at my right hand I will not be shaken.”
Psalm 16:8 NIV
David reveals the secret of unshakeable living—focus. Scripture teaches that stability grows where attention is fixed. David kept his eyes on the Lord, not on circumstances, enemies, or emotions.
A man becomes steady when he centers his vision on God. Right hand symbolizes nearness, strength, and partnership. David knew that God’s presence ensured stability.
Shaking comes from misaligned focus. Strength comes from fixed devotion. David teaches that a man’s gaze determines his ground.
When God is central, fear loses its grip. When God is constant, stability becomes unbreakable.
Father, fix my eyes on You. Keep me steady in every season. Let Your presence be the anchor that keeps me from being shaken.
