DAY 110 OF 365

Day 110

Verse
“Do not grieve for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Nehemiah 8:10 NIV
Story

Israel wept as the law was read, realizing how far they had drifted. Scripture shows Nehemiah redirecting their sorrow toward hope. Joy—not denial, but divine joy—became strength.

A man becomes steady when he learns that joy is not a feeling but a spiritual resource. The joy of the Lord is rooted in His character, not circumstances. Nehemiah understood that strength rises when men anchor themselves in God’s goodness.

Israel needed to rebuild not only walls but hearts. Joy fortified what sorrow exposed. A man cannot rebuild his life through grief alone.

God gives joy to energize, restore, and sustain. Nehemiah teaches that God’s joy strengthens the weary.

Prayer

Father, fill me with Your joy. Strengthen my spirit through Your goodness. Restore hope where grief once lived.
